Andytruc have a team of experienced, field based service engineers who provide maintenance and breakdown repairs on customer sites across the South of England and Wales. Their mobile workshops are all equipped with mobile telecommunications and a range of spares and accessories to suit most leading brands of forklifts. The field service engineers operate around a 4-hour response time to Andytruc customers, which in turn has the effect of minimising forklift downtime and helps maximise productivity at all of our customers operations.

Our trained Forklift engineers have considerable experience with most makes of machine and their engineering background means that solutions can be found to overcome most problems. We do not employ fitters who generally change components at will until the fault is rectified, usually after three or four visits.

Our engineers will diagnose faults by circuit testing or component faultfinding. The benefits of this to the customer are of course reduced parts costs, as the correct component rather than the complete assembly is replaced first time, reduced engineer labour time as once the fault is found they are confident the problem will be rectified and reduced forklift down time which saves the cost of casual hire. Similarly your business will not suffer a loss of production, or potential loss of revenue through not being able to deliver to your customers. With this in mind we also offer more favourable contract terms and conditions for similar contract hire prices.

The Andytruc service department specialises in the servicing of companies own fleets and are currently working on several different makes of truck in several different locations. We have negotiated and run contracts for up to 110 machines on a single site operating two shift cycles with up to four on-site based engineers, and currently look after customers with one forklift truck at National operating centres ranging from Aberdeen in North East Scotland to Plymouth in the South West of England. Whilst Andytruc have large high profile customers we have never forgotten our roots with some customers operating a single owned machine at one site, only needing service as and when required. We are therefore a prime example of a company that is large enough to cope but small enough to care.

Contract servicing of customer's own equipment means that Andytruc will attend to statutory Health and Safety Executive requirements at regular intervals taking the worry away from the customer.

On completion of a periodic service visit we will send a service report listing any other repairs recommended by our engineer. A statutory safety inspection report will also be issued at six monthly intervals.

During normal office hours between scheduled services we offer you a breakdown and repair service. Work would be invoiced at the current labour rate of £30.00 per hour from commencement of travel to your site until finished on your site, plus parts and consumables; a one off mileage charge of £5.00 is levied for each call out irrespective of distance travelled.

The repairs undertaken will be warranted for a period of 28 days, in respect of parts used and faulty workmanship. Prices stated do not include VAT and are approximate. They are based upon current costs of labour and materials and as such may be liable to change without prior notice.

Proof load Chain testing is available on our site at West Drayton and allows for quick and easy certification of any length size and type of leaf chain.

Operating modern and user-friendly Forklift Truck management software allows Andytruc the ability to report and provide statistics on many key performance indicators. This helps ensure we meet our targets and remain efficient and effective, allowing our customers to reap the benefits of the management tools normally only available to contract hire customers.
